Contact us
One inbox, read by the person who builds Subtitl.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Subtitl is built and supported by one person, so you are always talking to someone who can actually fix the problem.
Getting Subtitl
Subtitl is in a private beta. Request an invite and we will email you when you are in.
Try Help first
Most problems have a quick fix on our Help page: installing, signing in, devices, language packs, transcription, captions and updates.
What to include
You will get a faster, better answer if you tell us:
- the email address on your Subtitl account;
- which host application you use — After Effects or Premiere Pro — and its version;
- your macOS version and Mac model; and
- what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. A screenshot or a short screen recording helps enormously.
For anything about a payment, please also include the payment reference or order ID from your confirmation, and the date and amount.
What we can help with
- Before you join — whether Subtitl fits your workflow, your editor version, or your languages. We will tell you honestly if it is not a good fit.
- Installation and activation — the plugin not appearing in your editor, or a licence that will not activate.
- Moving to a new computer — though you can do this yourself from your account settings by deactivating the old device.
- Billing, cancellation and refunds — see the Refunds & Cancellation Policy for what we can and cannot refund.
- Privacy requests — access, correction or deletion of your data, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Bugs and feature requests — genuinely welcome. Much of what Subtitl does exists because someone asked.
